Senior Operator – Oil Products Exp.
For an Intl Trading Co. based in Switzerland we are looking for a Senior Operator – Oil Products Exp.
Tasks
- Contracts: issuance – checking – amendments – follow-up
- Nominations of vessels for clearance to load and discharge port and to buyers and sellers
- Documentary instructions & L/C opening
- Instructions to cargo Inspection Company, quality and quantity control, vessel’s agents
- Charter-party, freight payment, discharge orders, letters of indemnity, instructions to ship-broker/owners
- Documentary credits: issuance – checking – amendments – follow-up
- Estimate Freight – Demurrage – Inspection costs
- Issuance of commercial invoice and letter of indemnity
- Follow insurance claims in case of issue
- Ensure that the CTRM is regularly updated
- Manage terminal logistics, identify loss/gain differences
- Daily close monitoring of actual status of deliveries and financing situation
Profile
- Min. 7-10 years of experience in Oil Products Operations
- Excellent knowledge of the oil products market – inherent physical operations and contracts
- Strong understanding of vessels operations
- Good IT skills
- Fluent in English – other languages a+
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, pro-active and reliable
- Able to work under pressure and stress
- Strong organizational skills
