We are looking for a Senior Legal Advisor – Trade Finance Banking Exp. to be based in Benelux
Tasks
- Setting up the Legal Advisory process
- Providing legal support to Business Departments
- Drafting agreements and amendments to the existing legal documentation
- Offering guidance on legal subjects related to business development
- Reviewing legal documentation related to the relationship between Lenders and Borrowers
- Close cooperation with Structured Commodity Finance, Documentary Credits, Risk Management Dept. as well as Auditors
- Pro-actively identifying and implementing improvements of the existing legal documents
- Ensuring compliance with new legal guidelines and regulatory requirements
Profile
- Min. 5 years of experience in Legal Advisory within a Leading Commercial Bank
- Excellent understanding of banking business processes and Commodity Trade Finance
- Experience in dealing with Russian / CIS markets – an advantage
- University Degree in Law – Business oriented
- Experience / knowledge with URDG, ICC and UCP 600 – a big +
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication (spoken & written) and interpersonal skills
