For an Intl Trading Co. based in Geneva’s area we are looking for a Head of Trade Finance

Tasks

• Follow up of the transactions including reconciliation of collateral and Bank’s margin requirements
• Negotiation, management and reporting of the Bank’s facilities
• Setup and renewal of credit lines
• Development of new Commercial Banking Relationships to enlarge lines’ portfolio
• Bank Guarantee and Letter of Credit’s drafting, issuing and negotiating
• Instructions to Inspection Companies and Vessels’ Agents
• Follow up the initial and variation margin linked to futures and swaps position
• Reporting on cash available, accounts balances, bank transactions, financing, etc.
• Cash and account management on a daily basis
• Issuance of commercial documents – letter of indemnity – following up payments
• Close monitoring of actual status of deliveries and financing situation

Profile

• 5 – 7 years of experience in Trade Finance within an Oil Trading Co.
• Experience in Bank Relationship Management and setting up
• Strong knowledge of logistics and shipping operations linked to the Oil Industry
• University Degree in Finance – Economics – or equivalent
• Fluent in English & French – other languages a+
• Flexible, pro-active and reliable
• Able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills – ability to balance multiple priorities while working to tight deadlines
