For an Intl Trading Co. based in the French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a Trade Finance Officer

Tasks

• Assist the Finance Team with various tasks linked to Trade Finance – Documentary Credits – Treasury
• Issuance and follow-up of L/Cs – Stand-by L/Cs – Bank Guarantees
• Follow up of transactions and application of new ones on adequate credit lines
• Handling the global Co’s positions with Banks complying with lines limits
• Checking of both import and export contracts
• Follow up of invoicing & cashing process
• Working in close cooperation with Commercial Banks and other Co.’s Depts. (Ops – Accounting)

Profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Trade Finance or Operations within Commodity Trading Co. / Commercial Banks
• Commercial Degree – or equivalent
• Fluent in English & French
• Strong IT skills
• Team player – Open-minded – Excellent interpersonal skills
