For an Intl Trading Co. based in Switzerland, we are looking for a Grain Sales / Marketing – North African Mkt.

Tasks

  • Execute market access strategy at destination
  • Represent the Company from the initial negotiation, through contract creation, physical cargo execution and payment process
  • Understand the Trader’s position, market view and overall strategy to best approach a market and customer
  • Build demand grids for better regional and global information flow within the Company
  • Support in assessing the destination counter-party risk
  • Provide information to the trading database for the executed trades and market conditions
  • Ensure face-to-face contact with buyers in the region – and report accordingly to other offices
  • Identify and develop opportunities to get closer to the end-user

Profile

  • Min. 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position dealing with Ags / Grain Market in North Africa
  • University Degree in Business – Economics or equivalent
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) – other languages a+
  • Strong knowledge of Wheat-Corn-Soybeans a strong + (from the specifications to their yearly plantings and their USDA reports implications)
  • Knowledge of global S&D for the Wheat-Corn-Soybeans
  • Strong knowledge of GAFTA and ANEC and contract drafting
  • Strong understanding of payment tools
