For an Intl Trading Co. based in Benelux, we are looking for a Freight Trader – Containers Exp.

Tasks

• Negotiating containerized freight rates and allocations
• Securing containers availability
• Handling operational matters e.g. place bookings – securing allocations – solving inherent issues – etc.
• Ensuring competitive freight and timely shipments with P&L reporting
• Closely monitoring the global containerized freight market to identify trends and opportunities
• Daily interactions with different inherent Players

Profile

• 5 years’ experience in Containerized Freight within Shipping lines / Forwarders / Commodity Traders
• University Degree or Education related to Maritime or Ship Broking
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) – other languages a+
• Team player with excellent communication & negotiation skills
• IT literate – expertise in shipping software is an advantage
