For an Intl Trading Co. based in Switzerland, we are looking for a Copper Trader / Bus. Developer – African Mkt Exp.

Tasks

• Develop and implement business strategies to grow Copper / Base Metals trading activities
• Identify and develop profitable trading opportunities – sourcing and selling Copper in identified Markets
• Expand the company’s presence and develop relationships with clients and third-parties
• Cooperate with Brokers / Market Makers for paper transactions
• Represent the Company from the initial negotiation until payment process
• Ensure close and constant reporting to Top Mgmt

Profile

• 15 years of experience in Metals Trading with a proven track-record in Africa and portfolio
• Expertise in Copper Exploration – Trading & Business Development
• University degree in Business or equivalent
• Fluent in English – French / other languages a+
• Excellent commercial – communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen, able to spot trends and opportunities
• Independent, flexible and readiness to travel
